Ryan Ward

Ryan has been playing lacrosse since the age of three. For the last 25 years, Ryan has played in top indoor and outdoor leagues across North America. He has spends most of his free time coaching youth lacrosse and is currently a member-at-large of the Minnesota Chapter of USLacrosse. Ryan currently resides in Eden Prairie, Minnesota and teaches High School Physical Education / Health at St. Paul Prep School. He is also the varsity head coach of the Eden Prairie High School Lacrosse Team.

Career Highlights:

  • Member of 2006 Gold medal winning Team Canada in the World Lacrosse Championships.
  • Member of the Edmonton Rush (NLL)
  • Minnesota Swarm franchise points leader.
  • Two-time National Lacrosse League (NLL) East Division All-Star.
  • Western Lacrosse Association (WLA) MVP, First Team All-Star and two-time Mann Cup Champion with the Victoria Shamrocks (2003 and 2005).
  • Member of the 2004 NLL All-Rookie Team.
  • Drafted second overall in 2004 draft by the MLL's Rochester Rattlers.
  • Drafted third overall in 2004 by NLL's Philadelphia Wings.
  • Preseason Honorable Mention All-American (2003).
  • Butler University Team Captain & assist leader.
  • Three-time GWLL All-Conference selection.
  • Graduate Assistant Coach at Butler University.

 

Judy Baxter

Judy is the Head Woman's Clinic Director for many of the Twin Cities Lacrosse Camps and Clinics.  Growing up in the Philadelphia region, Judy has played lacrosse her entire life.  Judy is by far the most accomplished woman's lacrosse player and coach in Minnesota as is evident with her Team USA selection as a player and 6 State Championships as a Coach at Eden Prairie HS.  Judy has a wealth of knowledge & drills that she utilizes in all of her clinics to ensure an exceptional learning environment.  We are very fortunate to have an instructor as qualified as Judy to instruct our girls camps / clinics.

  • Former Team USA player & Team Captain
  • Div I Head Coach at Lehigh University

 Sean Pollock

Sean played minor lacrosse for the Wallaceburg Griffins and Junior A for the Kitchener Waterloo Braves and the Burlington Chiefs. Last year Sean served as an assistant high school lacrosse coach at Wayzata. Sean is originally from Wallaceburg, Ontario and is currently living in Minnetonka, Minnesota.

Career Highlights:

  • Member of the Minnesota Swarm
  • Member of the Canadian Mann Cup Champion Victoria Shamrocks in 2005.
  • 2005 co-winner of the Victoria Shamrock's Intensity, Effort, and Determination Award.
  • 2004 winner of the Victoria Shamrock's Most Competitive Spirit Award and co-winner of the Rookie of the Year Award.

 

Derek Michalski

Attended high school at The Academy of Holy Angels.  Played Lacrosse at Butler University (Div I) as a freshman and tranfered to Providence (Div I) as a sophmore. Derek currently attends St. Thomas University in St. Paul, MN & is the varsity assitant lacrosse coach at Holy Angels. 

 

 

  

Todd Baxter

Originally from Eden Prairie, Minnesota, Todd is the all-time scoring leader for the Eagles with 188 career points. He was selected All-American, First Team All-State and First Team All-Conference his senior season. He played his freshman year for Fairfield University Men's Lacrosse (Div I) and now plays for University of Denver (Div I).  Todd also was selected to the England National Lacrosse Team.

 

 

 

Stu Baxter

Older Brother to Todd Baxter, Stu was a member of the
2004 State Champions Eden Prairie Eagles.  Stu attended
Lehigh University (DIv I) in Pennsylvania
and played LSM as well as face off middie. 
Stu currently plays locally for the Minnesota Lakers and
is an Assistant Coach with the Eden Prairie Eagles Varsity Team. 
Stu is a tremendous coach that has exceptional insight into HS
lacrosse after being immursed in the college lacrosse scene for
the past 4 years. 

  Jason Mauro

Jason was a three-year starter in football, wrestling and lacrosse at Sachem High School in Long Island, New York.  He was twice selected to the All-GWLL team and was an All-American at Dowling University.  Mauro specializes in defense, man down situations, and throwing hard checks.  He was the player Ward "least liked to play against in practice." Mauro is passionate about lacrosse and is the current Varsity Head Coach at his alma-mater Sachem as well as being the Defensive Coordinator for the Long Island Empire Team State Champions. Mauro also runs a sucsesful summer lacrosse camp on Long Island where he currently resides.

 

 Garett Rosecrans

Garett played college lacrosse at Herkimer Community
College and Butler University and has been coaching in 
the Charleston Lacrosse system for 3 years. He was born 
and raised in Syracuse, New York and works as a teacher. 
Garett was selected 9th overall by the MLL's LA Riptide in the
 2008 supplemental draft. "G" is a 7x Veteran of the Memphis
